A lifetime of passion for animal welfare
I am passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my veterinary career, it has been an ever-present driving force.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is a relatively new concept that can take many forms depending on the company and industry but I have always believed that by adopting a form of CSR I could benefit society while adding equity to my own brand.
urthermore whilst important as CSR is for the community, it is equally valuable for a company. I found that collaborative networks with animal charities, help forge stronger bonds between employees; improve staff “hygiene” factors by boosting morale and facilitating a greater connection for my employees and myself with the world around us.
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be
judged by the way its animals are treated”
My MBA dissertation was an “Operational overview of the Dogs Trust Strategy in Northern Ireland”, having provided veterinary services to their Manchester rehoming centre since it opened in 2014.
My clinics provided the sole veterinary services for Pennine Pen animal shelter and Millstream animal centre throughout my entire time in practice.
I have also worked on an almost daily basis in association with the RSPCA, Cats Protection League and Dogs Trust targeting population control in the Greater Manchester area.
